The design at first sight, we find the aesthetic on the Dualtron Thunder 2 Escooter. The top of the Escooter remains unchanged compared to the first Thunder with its famous folding handlebars. The only notable change is the Dual-Single button replaced by a 5 functions much more practical and aesthetic.
- The suspension arms and the side covers now integrate an LED lighting, just like the steering arm and the column of the previous high-end models of the brand..
- The mechanics, the biggest changes on this Dualtron Thunder 2 electric scooters are certainly in its mechanics. Indeed, the passage on a battery of 72V should bring a surplus of power compared to the first version. The manufacturer announces a total power of 10 080 watts for a top speed which will exceed the 100 km/h!
The controllers deliver 50a in nominal, and 60a in momentary boost. - The autonomy is also there. The Dualtron Thunder 2 escooter has a 40Ah 72V battery composed of LG M50T 21700 cells. The autonomy is estimated at 170 km in Eco mode.
- On the braking side, we find the classic but nevertheless effective hydraulic brakes of the brand “NUTT” with discs of 160mm of diameter.
- If we take a closer look at the Dualtron Thunder 2 electric scooter, we notice some improvements like the double clamping ring which should avoid stem play. The steering/folding system has also been revised and seems more robust.
